SAFIA....African name meaning one who is pure. A very tall, 28" African American Porcelain doll in black formal attire accented with a touch of bling (literally dripping in jewels). Faux fur shawl to chase the chill and add a bit of elegance. Short wavy mixed gray hair speaks loudly that this is not her first time around the old block. Matching handbag to complete the look. Made of handpainted porcelain and fabric.

These one of a kind dolls are crafted from my refurbishment project, wherein I acquire dolls that have been abandoned. I redesign and hand craft them into new and exciting treasures for a child or adult doll collector. Makes a great gift for that special someone who has everything or a keepsake for the special child in your life. Doll Condition is refurbished. Made from fabric. We acquire our items from various sources and then refurbish them to a "like new" condition. We do not know the history of these items, but they are sanitized, redressed with new clothing, shoes, hair (if needed) and makeup. Tags and Original packaging not included. Subject to have a few minor unremovable marks in some cases. This will be noted in description if such is the case.
